Configure VoiceChat

In this tutorial, learn how to configure VoiceChat easily on a Minecraft server.

To setup Voicechat you'll need to :

• Stop your server

• Ask a new port, for that head to the "Plugins" tab in your OMGSERV panel, then click on "Assign a new port"

• Remember the assigned port and IP adress assigned

• go in voice chat configuration file (for the plugin it is called voicechat-server.properties )

• Change the fields :

  • bind_address , put the assigned IP adress

  • port , put the assigned port

  • voice_host , put the assigned IP adress

• Save the file and start your server

If this doesn't work and in the server console you see a error message "Adresse déjà utilisée" or "Address already used", redo the procedure by asking a new port/ip in the "Plugins" tab.
